Gary is very sympathetic towards the families of the brave men and women, who sacrificed their lives while serving the nation. He feels they need us in every way. Moreover, many such families have come up to him, to share their experiences.

Gary Sinise, who is famous for playing the character of Mac Taylor in CSI NY, has something to share with all the fans who download CSI NY to watch his dazzling performance.
Well, he wants to share his experience of being at “The National Memorial Day Concert” and plenty more.
He said, “I did this for the first time back in 2005. I was in Germany at the time on a USO tour with my band, the Lt. Dan Band, and we flew into D.C. knowing very little about the concert. But standing there on stage with 200,000 people watching, and with PBS televising it, I just got hooked.”
Post this experience, there have been few years that he has not returned to perform for those, who sacrifice their lives for the sake of country.

They raised money for the Chicago based Theatre Company, by selling out visits. Visits to CSI NY sold for $25,000 and $26,000. Nick Offerman’s on-set visit to “Parks” was sold at $11,000.
A spokesperson revealed that around 600 guests at $1,000 each, attended the event, which helped raise money.
